Hotel and location:
The 3* Wentworth House Hotel is a small property with 20 rooms. The hotel is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Bath City Centre approximately 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot. Bath Spa Station is approximately 15 minutes walk from the hotel, guests arriving by car can take advantage of the hotel`s free parking. As well as a walk to the famous Georgian Royal Crescent and Royal Victoria Park, no trip to the city would be complete without a visit to the historic Roman Baths or for a Spa day at the Thermae Bath Spa. Bath is also home to the Jane Austen Centre where visitors can discover how the city inspired her writing. There are also plenty stylish shops, restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance of the hotel.
Getting there:
From Bath Spa Railway Station head east towards Halfpenny Bridge and then turn right onto Halfpenny Bridge. Turn right onto Claverton Street/A36 and then left onto Lyncombe Hill. Turn right onto St Marks? Road and then after 0.2 miles continue onto Holloway. After 0.4 miles make a slight left onto Wellsway/A367 and turn right onto Bloomfield Road and the hotel will be on your right.
Heading east on the M4, at Junction 17, take the A429/A350 exit to Chippenham/Cirencester. At Stanton St Quintin roundabout take the 5th exit onto M4 slip road to Bristol/South Wales and merge onto M4. After 9.4 miles at Junction 18, take the A46 exit to Bath/Stroud. At Tormarton Interchange, take the 1st exit onto A46. Continue for 7.6 miles and then take the A4 slip road to Bath/Warminster/A36. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto London Road W/A4. After 1.1 miles turn left onto Cleveland Place and continue onto Bathwick Street. Bathwick Street turns right and becomes Sydney Place/A36, go through 1 roundabout and then at the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto Wells Road/A367. Continue to follow A367 for 0.7 miles and then turn right onto Bloomfield Road and the hotel will be on your right.
