The Show'The stakes are high, the tension are too!'

In a world of vicious rivalry devoid of morality or friendship, Glengarry Glen Ross, by Dave Mamet has been adapted again for the west end this autumn, by British director, Sam Yates.

Set in a cut-throat Chicago sales office, four salesman are pitched against each other in a high-prized competition - if you don't win, you're fired. In an abstract attack on the American business men, whose lives and values are based on lying, cheating and breaking the law, success for one means the failure of another. Staring Golden Globe winner Christian slater as Ricky Roma, this is really a show not to be missed. This modern day classic is being unveiled at the Playhouse Theatre for the first time in over a decade, and is running theatre 14 weeks only.

History of Glengarry Glen Ross
Glengarry Glen Ross first opened its doors to the public on September 21st 1983 in the UK, later moving across the pond to the Golden John Theatre on Broadway on the 25th of March 1984. Directed by Gregory Mosher, it was nominated for four Tony Awards, Best play, Best director and two best featured actor awards, with Jon Mantegna winning best featured actor. The show ended in 1985 after 378 performances and winning the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for drama. In 1992 it was adapted into a film, starring Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey and Johnathan Price.
