"Good location but super busy hotel "

Good location if you`re heading into Edinburgh, but it is a blacker busy hotel and breakfast time was a bit of a nightmare. If you wasn`t down for breakfast by 7.30am then you had a long wait ahead and if you was last then there wasn`t much left

Staff were excellent, especially the receptionist they were very very good at their jobs. The food was standard.

"Good place for a short break"

Nice clean comfortable hotel. Friendly atmosphere. Good location for a stay without paying City centre prices. Great bus links straight to the city centre in quick time ( a few bus routes available). Situated literally 5 minutes from Britannia and a good walk to Leith Shore shore which pretty with bars and eateries

"Friendly, welcoming, helpful at ALL times - nothing was too much trouble. "

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome, relaxed and looked after. All of the staff were polite and helpful, especially the staff behind the welcome desk and bar. The room was clean and spacious with everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely - so much choice! And the bar meals were delicious when we were too tired to venture out to eat. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you!

"Great location. Easy to get to by bus from centre. Next to estuary and working docks."

Historic location. Pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. Royal yacht Britannia 200 metres away. Shops within walking distance including ASDA.Overall good location, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included. Tea and coffee making facilities in rooms.

"All went very well, all staff`s are very helpful."

We booked a family holiday for a week and booked a Hotel in Express. There is nothing to complain . We received the services we were expecting. I would like to say "thank you very much" to all Hotel in staff`s. We are really appreciate their hard work and efforts they putting in on a daily basis to make all the customers feels proud and happy because It is not a easy task to achieve on a daily basis but they are the winners and winning every day Head-off. The morning break fast was lovely too we all really enjoyed it. Thanks again for having us and helping us. Well done to all, for a amazing team work. I will highly recommend to all our family/friends and others to use Hotel In Express in future. Thank you

Our room was lovely and clean on arrival. Very comfortable beds. However, other than 6 hangers( not a lot for 2 ladies128512;) there was no clothing storage. The room needs some drawers,even if only small.Bit far from city centre but there is a bus stop outside and great bus service. Two of the reception staff were much more pleasant than the one when we arrived. Breakfast was a fair choice but more choice of eggs would have been nice and, only my personal choice, some grapefruit.. Well done to the ladies doing the rooms. Ours was a mess Saturday as we were rushing off to town. We came back to an immaculately tidy room. Overall not a bad hotel other than distance. Beware taxis from station are expensive (nearly £13)
