The famous El Corte Ingles shopping centre is just an 8 minute stroll from the hotel, providing guests with over 9 floors of shops from fashion to food. The 4* property is ideally situated just a 6 minute walk from São Sebastião underground station, with the train to the airport taking just under 20 minutes and into the city centre in 5 minutes. The luxurious shops and boutiques of Avenue Republica can be reached from the hotel within a short 10 minute walk. While the water`s edge of the Tagus River, and some of Lisbon`s famous tourist attractions including the Old Church of our Lady of the Conceptions and Lisbon Cathedral, can be reached via a 20 minute subway journey and a short walk. If art is your thing the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, one of the world`s finest private art collections, is just 5 minutes from the hotel.
Getting there:
BY TAXI: From Lisbon Portela Airport. A taxi will take approximately 20 minutes and will cost between 10-15 Euros.
BY CAR: From Lisbon Portela Airport. Follow the signs from the hotel to the 2a Circular, westbound. Continue for 3.3km and then take exit 5 towards pomba Centro. Keep right and follow the signs towards A 1-Norte. Continue onto Campo Grande and then straight onto Avenue da Republica. Continue on Avenue da Republica before turning left onto Avenue Miguel Bombarda after approximately 3km. Continue on Avenue Miguel Bombarda for 500m until you see the hotel.
BY SUBWAY: From Lisbon Portela Airport. Take the Vermelha line from Aerporto train station (located in the airport) for 11 stops to São Sebastião station. Exit the station and walk south-east on Av. António Augusto de Aguiar towards Rua Marquês de Fronteira. Turn left onto Rua Marquês de Fronteira. Then turn left on to R. Marques Sa da Bandeira. Finally turn right onto Av. Miguel Bombarda and the hotel will be on your right hand side.
