Suites also include bathrobes & slippers, mini bar and coffee machines. The hotel`s public areas including the lobby lounge and breakfast room are also decorated in bold colours, as is the cocktail bar situated on the ground floor.

Hotel and location:

Holiday Inn Paris Gare de L`Est is opposite the railway station and is also an 8-minute walk from Gare du Nord and the Eurostar terminal. Visiting the city`s many landmarks is easy from this hotel due to its transport links to many metro lines. Iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysees can be reached in less than 30 minutes and the Louvre Museum and the Arc de Triomphe in approximately 15 minutes. Although there is not a restaurant in the hotel there are plenty of places within walking distance of the hotel and along the Canal Saint-Martin, which is approximately 10 minutes from the hotel, diners can watch the passing barges whilst enjoying dinner or drinks.

Getting there:

From Gare de l`Est, exit the station onto rue du 8 Mai 45 and the hotel is on the opposite side of the street.
From Gare du Nord on foot exit the station onto Bd de Denain towards Rue de Dunkerque/Pl.Napoleon III. After 160 metres turn left onto Bd de Magenta and then after 290 metres turn left onto Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis. After 24 metres turn right onto Rue du 8 Mai 1945 and the hotel is on the right.
From Gare du Nord by train take the Metro line 5 to Gare de l`Est. Exit the station via Terre-Plein and head northeast on Bd de Strasbourg toward Rue du 8 Mai 1945. Turn right onto Rue du 8 Mai 1945 and the hotel will be on the right.
