Guests attending a performance at the Royal Lyceum Theatre will find this hotel conveniently close by, just a 6-minute walk.
Getting there:
BY TRAIN: From Edinburgh Haymarket Station cross the station forecourt towards Clifton Terrace. Continue onto Clifton Terrace, which leads to Morrison Street. Continue on Morrison Street for 0.4 miles onto Bread St. After 0.1 miles Bread St leads onto West Port. Turn right onto Lauriston St and after 0.1 miles turn left onto Lauriston Place and the hotel will be on the left.
BY CAR: Heading north-west on M74 at junction 8, take the A71/B7078 exit to Kilmarnock/Edinburgh/Larkhall and at Canderside Toll, take the 5th exit onto Swinhill Rd/A71. After 2.9 miles at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Horsley Brae/A71 and continue to follow A71 for the next 2.2 miles. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Overtown Rd/A71 and continue to follow A71 for 1.6 miles. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Westwood Rd/A73, after 0.6 miles at the roundabout take the 1st exit and stay on Westwood Rd/A73. After 3.4 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Bellside Rd/A73. At Newhouse Junction, take the 3rd exit onto the M8 slip road to Edinburgh and merge onto M8. After 15.8 miles keep right to stay on M8 and after 9.5 miles at Hermiston Gait Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A71 slip road to Edinburgh West/City Centre/Kilmarnock/West Calder. Keep left and follow signs for Edinburgh West/City Centre/Kilmarnock/West Calder. At Calder Jct, take the 1st exit onto Calder Rd/A71 and after 0.5 miles at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Calder Rd/A71. After 0.4 miles at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Calder Rd/A71. After a further 0.5 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on Calder Rd/A71. Continue to follow A71 for 1.1 miles and turn left onto Balgreen Road. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Stevenson Rd. Continue on to Westfield Rd and then continue onto W Approach Rd. After 1.5 miles turn right onto Lothian Rd/A700. Turn left at Tollcross, Edinburgh onto Lauriston Pl and after 0.2 miles the hotel will be on the left.
