"No parking is a major issue, hotel is excellent , staff superb, when travelling over 300 miles, "
When travelling over 300 miles , offering to pay extra to secure parking, which was refused would probably stop me from booking here again, lack of parking and refusal to accept booking for parking although I offered to pay double , up front, is very poor, would put me off staying again

Hotel was lovely the breakfast was excellent but paid £210 for the room with no breakfast, has to upgrade breakfast at a fee of £30 on top of the room charge. The closest tube station is about 20 minute walk. We only had one dressing gown in double room and took over an hour to bring it after the second phone call

"Pros & Cons"
We had 1 night room only - room was ready on arrival well before check in time. Twin room had 2 double beds, all the usual facilites. We used the spa which was really nice & had pre-booked treatments. I was enrolled in IHG club so had complimentary late checkout. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the nearest tube (Kings Cross or Farringdon) and there isn`t much around the hotel although some pubs/shops 5-10 mins away. Breakfast over priced so we used the Bloom bar for tea & pastries.

The hotel is in a handy location, main station & tube a 10 minute walk away. Clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, the shower was amazing. Breakfast was buffet style and had plenty to choose from. We will use this hotel again and would recommend to others.

We had a mid week break, husband 2 teenage kids n myself beautiful clean room, everything we needed. Staff were friendly and attentive, couldn`t ask for more. We will definitely return.

You should state that the swimming pool is part of a private club and that it is not free for guesses to use. Guesses can use it at an additional cost

Although we literally used the hotel to rest our heads and store our bags we found the room clean and the reception staff kind and accomodating.

Great hotel rooms clean and modern.We didn`t eat or use the hotels facilities as we were only in London for one night. Staff friendly would definitely stay again

"A very pleasant stay"
The hotel was fantastic. Staff couldn`t be more helpful. Rooms were spotless and breakfast enjoyable. I had a very good 3 night`s sleep and wasn`t disturb by any noise. The steam free mirror in the bathroom is a stroke af genius. Negatives were the following - ordered room Service the night we arrived as it was late, pizza, absolutely disgusting. Seemed to be a frozen pizza. Cardboard. Cheese not melted. Couldn`t eat it. Room size... one adult 2 kids. The double bed was great. The sofa bed also very comfortable. When the sofa bed was in use there was no room to move, tripping over tables and suitcases. Storage - wardrobe was very small and there wasn`t really a place to put cases. They wouldn`t fit under bed or in wardrobe, again, with bed out, there wasn`t room to swing a cat.

"Swimming pool closed"
Hotel and room were good. However we booked this hotel because it had a pool, and on ringing through to the spa, I was told it was closed and had been since thursday. May as well have stayed in a travel lodge and saved money.
