"Great Hotel in a Great Location"

If you`re looking for a hotel in Temple Bar then this is perfect. Walk straight through the main area of Temple Bar and 200 yards later you`re in the hotel. Rooms and facilities are very good and clean. Breakfast is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The quality of service we recieved from hotel staff was excellent, as was the condition of the room. We had a wonderful stay.

"Hotel rooms excellent"

All bedrooms should have double glazed sealed units and air conditioning units becasue to leave the windows open to get some cool air, it is far too noisy into the very early hours as Dublin is such a busy place. As the first flight from Dublin back to Teesside means an early departure, Breakfast should be avilable from 7am not 8am. Apart from this the hotel is exceptionally clean and well located.

"Fab Location "

Stayed at the hotel Paramount for 2 nights in July. Hotel is in a fab location , right on Temple Bar doorstep and walking distance to main attractions ( Guiness Storehouse, O`connell St , Trinity College etc)

"Perfect Location"

We were a bit worried when we arrived that there would be a lot of noise from the Bar downstairs, but I can honestly say, that even though we were only on the first floor, we heard nothing. The hotel is in the perfect location with very easy access to anywhere, there is a hop on hop off bus stop at the top of the road, so even when it`s raining you don`t get too wet!!

"Good location; good room; comfortable beds; pleasant reception staff; breakfast better than expected"

Not your fault, but the street noise (Euro 2008) at 3 and 4am was a disturbance. Otherwise excellently situated for our two-day walk of old Dublin. Would recommend to friends on this basis.

Good standard hotel, clean, fairly modern, comfortable. However my main issue with my stay was the adjacent bar/club (which was open until 4am) underneath the hotel which was very popular with the youngsters, i was lucky enough to have a room over the reception which was marginally quieter than directly over the bar, there was alot of noise on the street until well after the bar closed. However the hotel is slap bang in Temple Bar which is very central. Had a great stay and the staff were very friendly.

"Good central location"

Hotel clean and tidy with very friendly and helpful reception staff - none of whom were Irish. Rooms spacious and on the upper floors surprisingly quiet considering the size of the bar/disco on the ground floor. Close to Temple Bar, Dublin Castle, City Hall and Trinity College. Good breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends visiting Dublin.

"All round winner"

This hotel was in a great location for temple bar and night life. Maybe not to everybodies taste but great for me!The rooms were clean and a good size. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was also above average. I`d recommend this hotel to anybody having paid a lot more for a lot less in other capital cities.

"Very good if you want to enjoy the Temple Bar area "

The hotel was in an excellent location for the Temple bar, the rooms where spacious, and bedding and towels changed daily. The staff where pleasant and very helpful. In all we enjoyed our stay there and would definately be our first choice when visiting Dublin again.

"An extremely effeciently run operation that met our group`s needs perfectly. "

The cheerfullness of the staff and the excellence of the breakfasts will long be remembered by our group of Chelsea Pensioners. Although there are thriving nightspots in the surrounding areas our rooms on the third floor were quiet and airy. I thoroughly recommend the Paramount to those who want comfort and value for money whilst at the same time being close to places of interest and entertainment.

"Great Location"

This hotel was close to everything someone needs to have a great time in Dublin. Close enough to tourist attractions such as Dublin Castle and the Guinness Brewry, as well as bring on top of the bars and clubs. Staff were polite, food was great, overall we had a great stay. I had a great stay here and would recommend it!

"Hotel itself very good, noise outside from drunks till around closing at 4am prevents any sleep "

Stayed Friday and Saturday night, excessive noise in the street nearby from the drunks standing around the bar/club until approx 4 in the morning on both nights, particularly bad Saturday night If you do not want to stay out yourself until 4am and want a nights rest, stay at another hotel off Temple Bar

"triple room 402 with balcony - just fantastic"

beautiful room, fantastic breakfast, excellent service, spotless, lovely bathroom, five minutes from Grafton Street, minutes from Liffy and Millenium bridge, absolutely gorgeous decor in diningroom, Turks Head pub very, very eye catching.Lounge area with seating to people watch is average size but sits well back from reception desk so you can read a paper and not feel conspicuous. Went to see The Morrison Hotel bedrooms and they were not any better than Paramount room that we had. Ten out of ten overall. When returning to Dublin this is where we will be staying again. Very very pleased indeed. Had never been to Dublin before but have travelled quite a bit and value for money here was just excellent.

"Ask for a quiet room."

We stayed at the Paramount on a Tuesday night, we are a family with a toddler who were not staying up late and boozing. We were put in room 314 three floors above the bar and on the corner of a busy road. Alright if there was double glazing but there wasn`t. At 11.30pm a bad Irish covers band cranked up Van Morrison and it was so loud a normal person couldn`t think straight. I complained and the reception man said with a smile "that`s not the loudest room". Overall nice hotel, breakfast etc but so loud and you would think that the staff would take into account a quiet room for a small family. Also I had checked Trip advisor and noone mentioned the noise. Strange.
