"Excellent and welcoming Hotel"

This a beautiful Hotel right in the heart of Edinburgh, close to all the shops, museums, etc. The staff in this hotel couldn`t do enough for me and my husband and they did it with a big smile, they were very welcoming to us. The bedroom and marble bathroom was lovely as was the big white towels left for us to use. The breakfast was excellent and again the staff couldn`t do enough for us. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

"Lovely Birthday surprise"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Balmoral Hotel. We took full advantage of the spa/pool facilities which were great. Rooms were very nice too, especially the extremely comfortable bed!!!

"40th birthday treat"

Edinburgh is a very special place for my husband and I and we try to visit every year. We have always wanted to stay in the Balmoral Hotel and decided to treat ourselves for my 40th birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room was superb - very spacious, and because it was my birthday we were given a free upgrade. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

"Excellent Hotel and perfect Location"

Hotel service was excellent, although there is no car parking as such the hotel will park and return the car as required. Rooms were lovely, I personally like tea making facilities to be available in the room. The swimming pool and facilities were excellent and the staff very helpful. My only small niggle is the size of the breakfast room, it is a shame that it is so cramped and everybody is sitting too close to each other, apart from that I would certainly return again. Do not leave booking afternoon tea until the day you arrive as you might be disappointed, especially at the weekend as it was all fully booked before we arrived

"Unbelievably Good!!"

The staff and service at The Balmoral are absolutely brilliant, there is nothing that is too much trouble. I cannot see any fault at all with Hotel and would stay there again without any hesitation.
