Overall, we were actually impressed with the hotel. We chose to have a light lunch in the hotel restaurant, but unfortunately the service was extremely slow and extremely expensive for what we had. Our advice - stay in the hotel but eat somewhere else.

"Looking for a fabulous hotel with fabulous staff and service then this is the one for you"
From the minute we arrived at this hotel we were treated like VIPs. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The hotel is immaculate everywhere and smells divine because of the aromatherapy products used appropriately in all areas. The breakfast was amongst the best we have had and all freshly prepared and the choice was excellent. The cocktail bar is very sophisticated and conducive to private conversation. The location was perfect for us with walking access to Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Soho and tube stations. The management clearly have set the right tone for the hotel.

Great staff at the Bloomsbury. The room was excellent, clean and spacious. The staff were 1st class. A short walk to Covent garden, Leicester square etc. Perfect location.

Chose this hotel for its great location as it was only 10 minutes walk to the theatre and a little further to Covent Garden. Lovely rooms with good equipment and decent size.

From the moment we stepped in to the Bloomsbury, we were made to feel welcome and taken exceptional care of. The premises are excellent, with clean comfortable rooms, lovely catering and a warm atmosphere. What is truly remarkable about the hotel, however, is the staff. Friendly, courteous, attentive and extremely helpful, they ensured that this will be the venue of choice for us for every stay we subsequently have in London from now on. Thank you for your excellent hospitality.

"A hotel with a relaxed environment"
We had an excellent stay; delighted in the careful but unobtrusive help that was offered; the bedroom was a good size, beautifully furnished; and the bathroom a delight for its stylish appointments. The continental breakfast offered a rich wealth of foods, all well prepared; and the service was first-rate. Acquiring a taxi for leaving was easily and quickly effected. Altogether this was a welcome stay.

Excellent hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful, We had a great stay here. For some reason, the hotel had the wrong dates for our stay on their system, but this was sorted without any fuss.

Well placed hotel central location for us, staff were very good and friendly with requests. We ate at the hotel in the evening, the food was of a very good standard, well presented and tasteful. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and would be repeated.

Our room was lovely however, throughout the night, even though we`d switched the air con off, it made a very annoying whirling noise! Other than that we had a very pleasant stay. Our room no was 315!

"Perfect placement."
The staff were so helpful and enthusiatic. Lad in the bar was very diplomatic. Give him 10 out of 10. The rooms heating/air conditioning was a tad noisy but once switched off we slept a peaceful night. We can suggest that the room service menu is more visible (not in a drawer). Breakfast exceptional. Thank you.

The Bloomsbury is an ideal getaway hotel for London visitors. The staff are always courteous, always there to meet your needs, and the hotel and it`s facilities are second to none. Ideal location close to Oxford Street and Regent Street, and also ideal for the theater goer. All in all - 100% recommended.

"Accommodation fantastic but breakfast wasn`t great"
Our bedroom was amazing and we both slept really well in the super comfy bed. Under floor heating in the bathroom was an excellent extra. There was an iPod dock, coffee machine and even an evening turn down service. Check in was efficient and easy and all staff from the concierge to the waiting staff were courteous and helpful. Our only (slight) issue was that breakfast wasn`t to our taste. There was a great choice and I had eggs benedict and my husband had a full English, but the eggs weren`t cooked well enough so the whites were, for want of a better word, still snotty. We didn`t complain because we were in a rush to get a train, but I`m sure if we had then it would have been resolved.
