"Standard Double Room"
Reception was swift and courteous. Room was smaller than expected but well laid out and had all I needed. Shower kept changing temperature slightly which was annoying. Only 4 channels on the tv, it was like being in the Eighties again!. It was good for 1 person, might be a bit small for 2

We were very pleased with the room and facilities , regretfully we didnt use the Bar and Dining due to my illness , we would book to stay here again !!!

"Excellent Hotel"
I booked a twin room. when I got there they had all been booked so was upgraded to an executive room FOC - well pleased. the rooms are very clean and fresh looking. beautiful bathroom too. would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel was very good and the staff excellent and very helpful. The rooms were very small, considering the cost, but adequate for one night. On the plus side the location was great and we were able to walk to the Shaftesbury Theatre , which took 10 mins and Covent Garden.

"Smallest double room ever encountered in any hotel anywhere"
Accommodation unimpressive - tiny room, negligible storage space - cramped shower room - poky shower cubicle, with only a fixed overhead shower, in need of renovation.

"Lovely staff, terrible room."
i wish I could give a higher rating because the staff at the were friendly. courteous and helpful, but sadly, let down by the terrible accommodation. There was constant noise from a generator. in my daughter`s room which was so loud that she had to be moved. It was audible also in our room but not so loud. Ourroom itself was tiny! There was only room for one bedside table and lamp because the bed was pushed against the wall, with no space at one side and about a foot at the other. No drawers to put anything in; couldn`t hang my dress properly in the wardrobe because the safe took up all the space so the bottoms of garments got creased. Tiny, narrow shower; towel rack above the toilet so if you didn`t put the lid down to flush, all the germs went straight up to the clean towels. You couldn`t put anything anywhere - one chair and a desk was all the furniture. Great location but we wouldn`t go back.

Tiny rooms, which are noisy and uncomfortable very little sleep. I believe that these rooms should actually be singles.

"Check your room allocation with hotel prior to arrival!"
Despite requesting twin rooms for my hen party on the HotelDirect site, this information is not forwarded to the hotel. 9 ladies arrived to find most were sharing a bed! The double rooms are tiny with the bed pushed up against one wall. The hotel managed to get one changed but everyone else had to share. Thankfully just one night as not ideal!! Disappointed!

Would definitely stay here again so well located, staff very good and what a lovely surprise for my friend to receive a fab Birthday Cake and hand written card from the Manager nice to have the personal touch

Staff very friendly - especially the concierge COLM who was brilliant and very, very helpful. In restaurant and bar MIRA (from Bulgaria) also very friendly and helpful. Method of serving drinks etc in bar VERY slow and tedious.

"The only place to stay."
We were welcomed at the lovely reception area by Melissa who was charming and seemed really interested in the reason for our visit. We had a beautiful king size room with every comfort. We went out in the evening and returned to our room to a lovely chocolate cake, with a card wishing my husband a happy 70th birthday, the reason for our visit, what a lovely surprise it was! All members of staff were only to happy to help with anything at all from extra tea for your room to flagging a taxi down to take you to town. The restaurant/ bar was very comfortable with excellant waiter service. One criticism, the restaurant is a no go area for Coeliacs and any one who is gluten intolerant. Apart from that, it is a beautiful hotel in a good location to both theatres and all other visitor attractions, it has well trained staff eager to help and lovely rooms worth every penny you pay for them.

The people in this hotel are totally awesome!! We came to Lomdom To celebrate my husband`s birthday. When we checked in they gave us a room upgrade for free as a gift to my husband! On his birthday while we were out exploring London they put a cake and a personalized birthday card for him. It was pretty awesome coming back to that! The staff was really helpful and did not get tired of our questions on how to get around London!! The location is EXCELLENT - just a stone throw away from the British Embassy and Oxford street for all our shopping needs! I highly recommend this hotel!!

This hotel was perfect location for my trip to Shaftesbury theatre show. There was a good choice at breakfast and it suited my friend and I who have conditions that require a healthy breakfast. Room was good and hotel well run. Only issue was room not being ready by 3pm and disappointed with eal at Scoff and Banter

"Box Room for a Bedroom "
A good hotel well situated for our visit to Covent Garden but we were given a box room for a bedroom. We were given a discount but I would have preferred not to have to climb over my wife to get in and out of bed. Staff friendly and always keen to help. I woul recommend it but be sure you are not offered a very tiny bedroom.

We were a little disappointed that we were up on the 7th floor in the eves having booked on 20th March. No hot water for a shower on Sunday morning. Having said that the hotel was immaculate, the staff very helpful and the restaurant excellent.

"Lovely hotel apart from bed "
The hotel was lovely , the bedroom was clean but our criticism of it was the bed was too small. I asked for a twin room as it was my friend and I so when we saw the bed we were suprised.It wasn`t even a double, it measured 52 ins and therefore all night we could hardly move without touching each other. The bathroom although very clean had no extractor fan so small slightly musty . The breakfast was amazing , plenty of fresh choice . Lovely juices and plenty of fresh fruit including mango and strawberries. Staff were all lovely , just a shame about the bed as we had an awful nights sleep!!!!

"Great Hotel!"
Great hotel in a great position. Very Central, easy to find, close to cafes/restaurants. Close to the tube station. Staff very friendly. Liked the little extras such as sweets in Reception, Iced water, toiletries in the bathroom. Will definitely use again.

"Fantastic service"
We arrived at the hotel and were told that we didn`t have twin rooms because we booked this as a package. We cheekily asked for a suite as we were celebrating a special birthday. The manager ( I think) came back and said he couldn`t get us any different rooms but he offered us complimentary breakfast which we accepted. The service at this hotel was excellent. The breakfast was incredible and we appreciated the kind gesture. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you.

"Double check room bookings! "
Arrived to find twin room bookings to be both doubles despite requesting twin rooms on booking form. The hotel manager was extremely helpful and eventually managed to swap rooms to enable us to have 2 twin rooms. We had arrived early and registered to save time later. This made all of the difference as if we had arrived late in the evening this change would not have been possible and would have ruined the weekend! The rooms were very comfortable however the mirror was in totally the wrong place making using the hairdryer impossible. The pillows were huge!!! making sleeping very difficult..... a choice of pillows would have improved the sleep element. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the overall décor lovely. Location excellent too!

Cannot speak more highly of the staff, very friendly and helpful, even Edward my Virtual host haha! Small touches such as greetings in the room were lovely. Only thing that does not make it excellent is the size of the room, felt a little cramped to me but my partner thought it was ok.

"Nice hotel but!"
This is a nice hotel in a good position, the only negative point I have is that the shower head (which was at one end of the bath tub) was fixed very low due to the angle of the ceiling and so I could not stand to have a shower, as we were only staying one night we did not complain but if I was going to stay there again I would certainly ask questions.
