"Very Good, Ticks Most Boxes"

Very good considering the price, but let down by a couple of items that would cost next to nothing to fix - bathroom towels too small, air conditioning/heating too noisy. Otherwise almost excellent for the price.

Only enough tea and coffee making facilities for one drink each. I was very surprised that the bar was closed at 10.30 pm on a Saturday night. On the plus side, the automated check in and check out is very easy. This does mean that the place rather lacks atmosphere as there are so few staff around. Overall would have been worth the money if breakfast had been included.

"Good value for money"

A good place to stay as long as you don`t want to eat after 10:30 at night as then you have to go into the West End. On the night we stayed the recycling dust cart arrived at 06:50am, which is not what we wanted on a Saturday morning after a late night on Friday. Room was clean and tidy and a nice size, breakfast in the morning was good. We will stay again.

"Ideal location and comfortable stay"

The hotel is ideally located and only a few tube stops from all the attractions and rail links. Very quiet area on a weekend as it`s in the business district plus its away from the hustle of other areas. Good restaurants and bars near by on a Friday but nothing open on Saturday and Sunday. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean and the staff was very attentive. Bonus is you can leave your bags after you check out so you don`t have to troop around London with suitcase etc. if you`re not travelling until later.

"Problems with room service"

Myself and my wife stay in London atleast once a week and normally book through hotel direct. We normally stay at a weekened and we love to go out in town but enjoy to get back to the room and have a couple of night caps in bed from room service but this service finished very early so we were very disappointed so went to sleep. We woke up in the morning and rang room service for breakfast in bed as we always do but were told they did not provide this service. For what seemed to be a lovely hotel with friendly staff it really let us down. We would not stay there ever again.

Clean and tidy. Pleasant staff. No noise apart from on person coming in about midnight and making a noise in the corridor. Staff were helpful, only stayed one night, to save getting train home in the early hours of the morning. Would definately stay there again.

Although it was just an overnight stay, the impression we had was that the staff were most helpful and courteous and the rooms spacious , comfortable and reasonably priced for this area of London. We would book here again if we need a hotel in this area.

"Very welcoming, clean and comfortable"

This is a quick review as I`m on my way to a holiday! But my husband were spending the evening in London to celebrate my twins` 30th birthday ... and therefore, it was `special`. Having stayed in all three Club Quarters hotels in New York, I didn`t think I could go wrong when choosing Gracechurch for our stay, and I was proved right. A lovely welcome, speedy check-in and very comfortable room indeed. A little more in the way of room facilities would be desirable - mirrors in a few more places and some more tea/coffee sachets. Then finally, a small criticism that more lighting was really needed in the foyer area where the check-in/out machines can be found. It was difficult to see where to swipe the room card/credit card/reception slip. Other than that, a wonderful night`s accommodation and we shall be back! Glyn Barritt

A bit out of the centre, but a really interesting location right opposite the beautiful Leadenhall Market, and an easy tube ride to the West End. Lots to see and do right near the hotel. Very quiet at weekends. Excellent valua.

"Good value for money, well situated and with helpful staff. My expectations were exceeded."

I forgot to tell the receptionist that the 240v electric razor socket in the bathroom of Room 616 only works if you press hard on the plug. It`s as if the contact points were too deep in the socket: I have a standard Phillips razor and plug which has worked worldwide so the problem is not at my end. Otherwise no comment except to repeat that we enjoyed our stay.

easy check in and out - very quick. complimentary tea, coffee and chilled water. En suite in our room was miniscule - no room to turn round. Bed against a window so not easy for 2 people to sleep there. Would be ok for one person in room

Stayed in a family room which was spacious and had everything we needed for our 18 month old. The only problem we had was with breakfast which was a shambles as there was not enough staff on, the requested high chair and toast never appeared and we waited 30 minutes for coffee, and the selction for the continental breakfast was appalling. Having said this when we complained there were no quibbles and we were not charged for it. Overall a pleasent hotel with very helpful staff.

"Good location, average hotel with some issues"

I stayed with a friend in a twin room for one night. The hotel is in a good location for seeing central London, with tube stops nearby and also an easy walk to London Bridge and Borough Market. The room itself was average and quite acceptable except for the `drain` smell from the en suite bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful in the main, although a bit abrupt when answering phone queries. Our main issue wih our stay was the extremely loud rubbish collection directly below our window at 7am Saturday morning. This lasted for some time and included glass bottle colection - I can`t imagine anyone slept through that! All in all I can`t complain about the cost of the stay; it is an average hotel and I suppose you get what you pay for, though there are better deals, and better hotels, to be had.

"Clean, comfortable, fair price for London"

Room was a bit old fashioned and gloomy looking, but very clean and quite comfortable. The drinking water dispensers are an excellent idea, as is the `room service` via outside suppliers. Shower worked, water was hot, bed was OK, room was peaceful, heating worked, automated check in in didn`t. A better experience than a travel lodge, but not dissimilar in principle - certainly not a `proper` hotel - I would probably use again as convenient for the City.
