"The room and its facilities were outstanding very comfortable bed."

The only thing that let the stay down was our experience at breakfast. There were not enough staff and the food and plates were far from hot. The food was cold towards the end of the meal. Likewise when we got our tea and coffee I would have expected it to be hotter. By comparison our evening meal was excellent with the standard of food first class, though the service could have been quicker. On entering the restaurant it wasn`t clear whether we had to wait to be seated or find our own table. Our overall impression was that things were somewhat disorganised.

NICE LOCATION. BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS. PRETTY BUSY WITH WEDDING IN MAIN PART ON SATURDAY THEN PRIVATE PARTY IN THE BARN BAR ON THE SUNDAY. GOOD FOR THE HOTEL BUT MAYBE NOT FOR CLIENTS. 40 MINUTE WALK TO THE CRICKET GROUND WHICH WAS FINE AND PURPOSE OF THE VIST.

"In spite of some noisy guests would return"

Pleasant helpful staff; attractive room though a little too `compact` . Loo did not flush properly. Noisy yobs woke us up at 3am on saturday morning and in spite of complaints to the night staff no effective action was taken . The noise continued till after 5am. Such experience demeans the hotel and is insulting to other guests.

"Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed."

Enjoyed my stay here. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excelent. Rooms and facilities were comfortable.

"Lovely stay"

The staff were very helpful, we did experience disruption through the night with a fight outside our room in the hotel grounds and we had to call reception to call the police which was sorted. This of course is not the hotels fault. Breakfast was ok, there was a shortage on hot food and bread and there was some time before it was replaced.

"5* quality at Weetwood Hall"

Having been invited to an evening wedding party at Weetwood Hall we decided to stay at the hotel but as it was only a few weeks away, we found it was full. Hotel Direct had a "compact double" available for the night in question so we booked it, and it was superb. We were expecting a corner cupboard next to the boiler room and were very pleasantly surprised.

"Food was excellant!!!!! Staff really helpful!!! lovely grounds."

Only criticism would be that the ensuite was some what dated and the shower went hot and cold which was very dangerous. Also the sink did not hold water for an easy shave.

"Staffed by efficient, friendly and helpful people"

No complaints, room very clean, food in restaurant well cooked. Problems dealt with very quickly i.e. broken lift and silent TV. Would certainly recommend the hotel to friends.

A warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff. Rooms comfortable, if a little smaller than expected. The evening meal was excellent and enjoyed by us all. The breakfast buffet was extensive with fresh rolls and delicious croissants as well as a full English. We will certainly stay here again.

"A PLEASANT LOCATION IN A NICE PART OF LEEDS, VERY HANDY IF YOU NEED TO GO NORTH INTO THE DALES."

NICE RELAXING BREAKFAST ROOM. FRIENDLY STAFF. QUIET EVEN THOUGH A WEDDING WHILE WE WERE THERE.

"Supposedly in a quiet situation, the traffic noise kept us awake for quite a lot of the night."

Atmosphere very stuffy throughout, no free flow of air that we could discern except in our room where we had to have the windows open. Breakfast was good and the beds comfortable.

"Problems with the room"

A. The room was very small B. The bathroom had a very strong smell of sewage, which was quite unpleasant.

"First Class Hotel"

Room 141 was very cosy but we found that the bathroom smelt and it took the opening of the windows to clear (eventually) the smell. Upon taking a walk having have a meal on the premises (20.30 hours) we found that the entrance to the stables court-yard was blocked by the hotel mini bus and a car, upon signing out the mini bus was still in situ at 09.30 the following morning - surely this should be kept clear for emergancy services in the event of a fire etc.? I look forward to your reply.

"Will Use This Hotel Again"

We used this hotel as a stop over for a golf trip and would not hesitate to use it again. We found the rooms well appointed and comfortable. The availability of all three Sky Sports Channels was a bonus. The restaurant food and drink was good and reasonably priced and the Stables Bar was a great place to go and relax in an informal atmosphere. All in all very good.

"First and Last visit."

Whatever you do, don`t book this hotel if you want instant access to leisure facilities. The fact they are 2 miles away from the hotel is a real let down. The corridor leading to our room smelt awful. The room was adequate but shower overbath not powerful enough and damaged. Decided to take advantage of the "Award winning Stables Pub" but our meals were served barely warm. Other patrons sent theres back. We persisted and after a bit of a pep talk to the bar staff did get a piping hot sticky Toffee pudding. On a brighter note the staff in the hotel were very polite and helpful and the breakfast was spot on. Would need a great deal of convincing to go back.

"Hotel rooms in need of a facelift to continue being a 4 star hotel. "

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Be aware if you book a standard double room - these are very small for 2 people. The staff were very helpful in upgraded us to a larger room for a fee - which was worth the extra money.

Nice rooms, if a little on the small side. Beautiful venue. REALLY friendly staff. Feel like I was mugged at the bar though - food and drinks really expensive. 2 glasses of wine: £12!!!

"Nice hotel and attentative staff, good food and beer."

VERY noisy room at the front of the hotel. Double glazing not at all effective and road noise apparent. We were in Room 176.

the first night I stayed 19/5/08, the room was very nice, comfortable and I enjoyed the stay. The second night I stayed 21/5/08 the room although functional was not as good, a little claustrophobic, dark and a bit dingy and would affect my choice next time

room was comfortable and clean, complimentary drinks had a good selection of herbal teas, normal tea and coffee. The flat screen was a bonus, particularly as it had a DVi input for my lap top to plug in to! breakfast service wasn`t great; I had to ask 4 times for toast. evening meal in the brasserie was fine.

"Hotel didn`t give us the standard of room we had booked and paid for & didn`t offer to move us"

Hotel was clean but we were disappointed with the reception staff`s view that they couldn`t help us because we had paid the agent direct, therefore it wasn`t their problem. The room was extremely hot at night even though the heating was off and the window was open - perhaps we should have foreseen this problem due to the giant fan standing in the corner of the room!!!!

"Clean comfortable and excellent staff"

I really enjoyed my stay in your hotel, from the moment that I arrived, I was very impressed. Upon arrival there were a group booking in ahead of me, although this delayed my check-in by a few minutes, the moment that I got to the desk, the receptionist apologised for the wait, even though there was no need as she was obviously very busy. The room was very clean and welcoming and I was very impressed. Breakfast was very nice and I appreciated the fact that you catered for vegetarians at the hot buffet. The bar food was really lovely, as were the staff.

YOU AS A COMPANY TOOK MY MONEY AND PROMISED THAT YOU WILL MAKE A BOOKING ON MY BEHALF. GUESS WHAT, WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL YOU HAD NOT MADE THE BOOKING AND I HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME CONVIENCING THEM THAT I HAD MADE A BOOKING. A ROOM WAS FOUND FOR ME BUT AFTER MUCH PROBLEMS. "excellent food!"

I greatly enjoyed my stay... food was the best i`ve had when staying overnight in the leeds area - and i stay over once a week. friendly staff too. the only thing more i`d want would be free WiFi to keep up with my work, but i know that you can`t have everything!

"Good friendly Hotel"

Large Hotel with private car park which is well lit, seperate pub, food was excellent, check out was very quick and efficient, Rooms are of a very high standard. Would recommend

"Food at buffet at wedding excellent and really appreciated it."

On comment would be that we could not get the heater in the room to turn down so had window open all night which was rather noisy because of the traffic but it did not spoil our weekend in any way.
