"Servicing of rooms"
We were disappointed that we left our room at 10am and returned at 4.15pm and our room had not been serviced.We reported this to reception who sent someone who expected us to vacate the room while they carried out a clean.We informed them that we were not leaving the room because we had been out all day and wanted to rest.

Sadly our experience was let down by the hotel bar who tried to charge us for a more expensive wiine which we did not order instead of the one we did order! Barmad even then tried to suggest we had ordered it. Spoilt was was otherwise a lovely break

"What a lovely hotel and just minutes away from adelphi theatre!"
I booked this for a night away with my husband just after christmas we had tickets to see love never dies and this hotel was the perfect location and about 5 minutes walk into the centre of covent garden. I was dubious after getting the room for £104 with full english breakfast and generally rooms in london for this price are a let down but the staff were so friendly and helpful and our room was immaculate, modern bathroom with under floor heating and large shower not at all what you would expect from a standard deluxe. I will definately stay here again when in london by far the best hotel i have stayed in for a very long time. On,ly downside was our view was a generator and it was a lilttle noisy but didnt disturb my sleep and i didnt go to london to look out of my hotel window so view not a problem!

Breakfast was very disappointing. Self service and cold. Not worth paying the extra money. I can honestly say the worse breakfast I have eaten when I have been away. The bar was also very expensive.

The actual hotel was very nice, however the room was very small and if you wanted to heat the room it was incredibly noisy which made it a bad night. The prices for food and drink was also extortionate. For a 330ml bottle of beer and a glass of fanta it came to £10.07 which caused us to venture out for dinner as opposed to staying in the hotel as was first planned.

"Affordable luxury in heart of the City"
Immaculately presented hotel with charming ambience throughout. Staff friendly and obliging, but not overly fussy like some higher end hotels can be. Room facilities everything one would expect from 4* accommodation. Ideally located for West End shopping and evening entertainment. Will definitely return in future.

We were very pleased by the courtesy of the staff bringing us the key for the second room without us needing to go to reception. Check in was easy and pleasant and after a cold day in London, much appreciated! Our daughter lives in England, so we certainly will consider the Charing Cross Hotel in the future.

"Room lovely but walls too thin"
We upgraded to a Junior suite (no. 600), which was lovely, but we had neighbours who decided to talk from 1am to 8am and we felt we were in the room with them. In the bathroom you could hear another neighbour as clear as day while having a bath. A lovely room, the hotel is beautiful and the breakfast was good, but soundproofing neads upgrading. We went to have a nice quiet break but our first night was ruined by the noise. The second night was better.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Check-in staff friendly and efficient . I was offered a £35 upgrade on arrival which I took and was not dissapointed. Huge room/ suite overlooking the Strand with an early check-in and bottle of wine. Room was modern and clean with all the facillities expected of a 5 star hotel. Great full English breakfast the next morning included in the price which completed a perfect stay. Excellent value for money in central London, Will definitely return!

"brilliant hotel"
My daughter and I stayed here the weekend before Christmas when the snow was merrily covering the city. This hotel was superb. So central for all our needs - Covent garden, leicester Square, We also saw the musical Legally Blond ( 2 minutes walk away) Given the area was thick with snow, the hotel was well positioned for all our needs. The price was amazing - we paid £100 for a twin room B& B - how`s that fa Christmas present!- the staff were incredibly helpful too.

"This hotel is in a great location"
Ideal for the theatres and covent garden. Rooms were of a high standard. Staff in the hotel were very friendly especially in the reception area. A downside was ..... The bar on the first floor,was poorly staffed, and the bar prices very high.Overall,a very high standard throughout the hotel, a very enjoyable stay, and I would recommend this hotel, and will be staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay very much with a comfortable clean room and a very impressive building, The decor and character gave a good atmostphere and the pink breakfast room was delightful. The staff were very helpful and polite. I rather stay here than at any of the rather boring modern `well know names` hotel and this was better value.

location excellent staff friendly & helpful, room was late being serviced - 4pm so we were back getting changed before room services. Saw wine glasses outside room for three days we were there no one picked them up or moved them when cleaning. Would I go back Yes. Food was average but overall enjoyed our stay.

"Excellent classy hotel"
This is a luxurious classy hotel with very grand public rooms and good size comfortable bedrooms and nice bathrooms - we only had one towel when we arrived but housekeeping sent some more within 2 minutes. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are delightful and friendly - without exception. Even my wife could not find fault. Will definitely return.

"Noisy"
The room that I had was lovely, however it was overlooking the main road and was extremley noisy. Barrels were being unloaded at around 5am in the morning which went on for about 2 hours, i checked out at around 8.30am as I hadnt been able to get any sleep all night. I was very disappointed as its a lovely hotel but I would not stay again due to the noise!

Always wanted to stay at this hotel and was lucky enough this weekend 19th Dec. Great location, very helpful staff, room had everything we wanted and more. We were offered an upgrade to a junior suite, which we would have taken up had we been staying longer. Can`t wait to go back!
