Getting there:BY TRAIN: From Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station. Follow the exit signs for Calton Road. Cross over the footbridge to exit the station and then walk slightly uphill on Calton Road. At the end of Calton Road you will reach Leith Street with the John Lewis Department Store on your left side. The hotel is located on the north side of Picardy Place roundabout and can be accessed via the pedestrian crossing from near the Omni Centre.
 BY CAR: Follow signs for Edinburgh A1 and then turn towards London Road (B1350). Continue along London Road. Turn left at the end of London Road - The Playhouse Theatre will be on your left side as you approach the Picardy Place Roundabout. All staff are really friendly and can`t do enough to help. The breakfast is very good hot and cold food lots to choose from. The bedrooms are clean and well presented. The hotel is ideally situated, walking distance to shops and sites.

"In the right place."
Situated a short walk from the station, in the middle of town. Trams stop outside and the bus route options are endless. The room was OK with the mandatory air con, which we switch off. Breakfast was ok but powdered scrambled egg is not good. Plenty of places to eat nearby and all the sights are a short walk away, worth booking major sites though. Would I go back, yes I would.

"Good position"
I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a very good position to get around Edinburgh. It is not far from Waverley station and trams to Ocean Terminal (Royal Yacht) and the air port stopped just outside. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, the bedrooms were quite adequate and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. The staff were both helpful and friendly. I would certainly stay here again.

"Excellent staff, well managed clean and comfortable holel."
Rooms were comfortable, very clean with adjustable heating / air conditioning. All staff encountered were friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was plentiful and hotel location in the centre of Edinburgh was excellent for our short break. Would highly recommend
