Hotel is situated in an ideal place for site seeing. It is a lovely hotel but could ideally do with extra lighting in the bedroom, which would make getting ready much easier for ladies. We found the service in the restaurant to be rather slow and on a personal level I wouldn`t eat dinner there if I ever stayed again.

"First class hotel"

The Indigo is a very clean and pleasant hotel ,The staff are friendly and helpful the rooms are clean and comfortable ,The hotel is right in the city centre and the journey from the train station could not be easier as you step out at the front of the station the hotel is straight in front of you ,I would definitely stay here again when visiting Edinburgh

"Cleaning "

A couple of issues. Firstly we were ushered out of the dining room at breakfast by the manager saying that we had 5 minutes to finish or go to the bar area, as the cleaners were coming in. Never in all the hotels I have stayed in have I experienced this. It was Saturday 12th at 11am. Breakfast was served between 7 and 11. The second issue was the same day?.at around 9am a man knocked on our door (I had forgotten to leave the ?do not disturb ? sign outside. He said he would come back later. When we returned the basin hadn`t been cleaned, hoovering wasn`t carried out and the bed barely made. Even the milk stains were still on the tray. We mentioned this to the Operations Manager?his excuse was the sign was out. It wasn`t when we went out, otherwise he wouldn`t have entered the room at all. It is pure laziness. We paid nearly two and a half thousand for a four day break. We expected a little more.

"Special Occasion "

We were celebrating my 65th birthday and our Silver Wedding Anniversary. The hotel upgraded us to a lovely room with a city view.A large room with the comfiest bed,everything was super clean .The staff went the extra mile to give us the best memorable stay .Thank you 128515;

"Great three night stay at the Hotel Indigo Edinburgh Princes Street"

Friendly staff and the room adequate and clean. Lots of breakfast options - continental and traditional breakfast dishes to choose from. Had two evening meals which were excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
