Everything was good and the staff very helpful, the pool in particular was good. The lifts unfortunately let the place down with 2 out of order and long waits, so we used the stairs quite a lot

"Lovely room. Nice pool. Disappointed with the bar area. "
We arrived back to the hotel after our show. Decided to have a nite cap in the bar. It had clearly been a busy night as the bar was very untidy. We had to wait a while to be served even though we were the only people waiting to be served. We asked for 2 gin and tonics. The girl seemed not to understand, after a very long pause, she says "We don`t have any clean gin glasses" that`s ok I say , but can we have pleanty of ice. 2 or Small cubes put into a small glass.128563; we asked for some more! She had to go and get it. She was not impressed. Then she couldn`t find the Gin!!! Eventually found some. Faffed about trying to find the measure, then informed us they had no tonic. This is a top hotel. Gin tonic is a common drink. We gave up went to bed without the nite cap. Lovely pool in the morning though.

"BASIC"
Great accomodation Marvellous, helpful, freindly staff Let down by a total lack of anything you would expect from a Hotel with 11 floors in the centre of London. Getting a kitchen snack (Plate of sandwiches) at a late hour..... Not possible. Answer given "You can order in and we`ll call you from the desk". A beer after 23:00 " The bar`s closed" The whole point of being in a hotel is that you can get what you want when you need it! "Lesser!" hotels have a night porter or staff around for such service In light of the above ie (service seriously lacking) you might expect a reasonably priced breakfast... Thank God there was a Weatherspoons next door to provide great food at a very reasonable price in a freindly atmosphere. I would like to re-iterate, I don`t blame the staff as they were all freindly and polite, just the lack of Hotel style service APPALLING.

"Information"
The hotel was lovely but I am very disappointed that the hotel staff did not inform us that our bed or towels would not be changed or that out bins would not be emptied during the five nights we stayed there. I realise during COVID that things may have changed but it would have been courteous for the staff to inform us on check in or there should be a notice in the room.
