Incredible hotel, everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was ready ahead of check in, it was quite with an excellent view across the city. The breakfast buffet on the terrace was exceptional?I would highly recommend the Royal Horseguards Hotel

"Our favourite London Hotel"
We actually paid a lot for this accommodation and wanted a room with a view over the river. It didn`t adversely affect our stay but in our room on the 7th floor the windows were so old that they no longer shut properly and the road noise was only drowned out by the sound of the trains. Poorly fitting curtains have to be carefully arranged to ensure that the light doesn`t disturb your sleep. The bathroom was a little tired with the shower taking an age to drain. Breakfast was good but the hotel staff weren`t forthcoming regarding the separate menu for item which weren`t available from the buffet and which at the price we paid should have been more widely advertised. Positives were our room attracted free access to the mini bar fridge which was stocked with beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks. Additionally, we had a Nespresso coffee machine with 4 cartridges a day. Public rooms are good, the staff are excellent and we will be staying again based on location.

I chose this hotel and theatre package for my wife`s birthday and our wedding anniversary, we arrived at the hotel around 11.30am to ask if we could leave our case with the concierge as it states you cannot check in until 3pm. The receptionist who dealt with us was Polina who after I mentioned it was a birthday and anniversary surprise very kindly upgraded our room to the eighth floor with a great view. The room was spotless with a little nespresso coffee machine with ample coffee pods and tea bags, there`s a little mini bar with water, cans of coke, popcorn and chocolate bar which gets replenished in the evening if you wish. All the staff we spoke to were very polite and courteous. Also the hotel is ideally located for all the sights. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a great stay.
