The Bird, Bath

Room and hotel facilities:

The 4* Bird Bath has 29 rooms and suites ranging from Cosy Doubles to Deluxe Kings, some with city views and some overlooking the Abbey. All have eclectic decoration and plenty of in-room amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. These include free Wi-Fi, Nespresso machine and tea facilities, flat-screen TV, Dyson hairdryers and ensuite bathrooms with Anatome toiletries. Full English Breakfast, which can be added during the booking process, is available every morning in Plate the hotel`s restaurant. Lunch and dinner are served daily. There is also a fully licensed bar and in good weather guests can enjoy drinks on the terrace overlooking Bath Abbey. PLEASE NOTE: This hotel does not have a lift and there are stairs to all rooms.

Hotel and location:

Overlooking Bath Abbey and just 5 minutes from The Recreation Ground, home to Bath Rugby Club, the 4* Bird Hotel is well placed for a short break in the city. Bath Spa railway station is also just 15 minutes away. Bath is a very walkable city and walking is a great way to take in all of the Georgian architecture. Popular landmarks such as The Royal Crescent and The Circus are an easy 25 minute stroll through the city, the Jane Austen museum is also along this route. Bath also has many small shops to peruse and restaurants and bars to visit.

Getting there:

BT TRAIN: By Train: From Bath Spa Station exit by the main entrance and cross at the pedestrian crossing, turn right onto Manvers Street. Continue onto Pierepoint Street. Turn right at the corner onto North Parade. After 0.3 miles follow this route round the corner to the left onto Pulteney Road and then left again for the hotel.
