Hotel Indigo London - 1 Leicester Square

"Perfect base for our 3 day say"

The hotel, being situated on Leicester Square, was an ideal lauch point for our 3 days in London.The Wyndhams Theatre was only a 5 minute, leisurely walk and for the museums we used the many bus routes to get around.The location was so close to so many attractions and tourist `must sees`. The restaurant was locatred on the 9th floor with amazing views across the city. The room, room 607, was very comfortable very well furnished. The breakfast was comprehensive, with a wide array of options available. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Our contact with the hotel, prior to our stay, to add on an additional night was seamly and we were able to have the same room throughout our stay. Definitely a 5* experience. Thank you.

"Hotel Indigo"

Very conveniently situated close to the underground station, ( Leicester Square), and our theatre choice,( The Piccadilly). Easy check in, pleasant staff, room very good and overlooking Leicester Square. 9th floor restaurant with a great view over London. Breakfast with choices to suit everyone. Only downside was our choice of main breakfast item was the poached eggs with crushed avocado, very tasty but almost cold when delivered. The other minus was the size of the tea and coffee cups need to be of a larger capacity.

"Noisy until 3am"

Not only was there constant thumping music until 3am I was then told on leaving that the reservation hadn`t been paid for. I refused to pay and left as we had paid Hotel Direct back in September last year

We had a lovely stay. Considering the hotel is in Leicester Square, it was quiet inside the hotel. The staff were all nice and friendly. Breakfast was nice and plenty of choice.

"room too small for elderly people "

This hotel has a great location, quality breakfast, quality products, but is servily lacking in the size of room. The bathroom is nearly as big as the bedroom. No space to walk out of the bedroom the bathroom. I think thatbthis was a single bedroom used to house the 2 of us.

"Excellent location, stunning rooftop bar"

The location is excellent, right in Leicester Square easy to get to everything. The rooftop bar is the best part of the hotel. The views are outstanding and you can see right across London and all the major landmarks. The service in the bar/restuarant was ok - they seemed to be perpetually short staffed. Breakfast was adequate - nothing outstanding about it. There were very few large cups available for the tea - only the small coffee cups and no saucers. The hotel does not offer marmalade at breakfast which really surprised me. We had booked a premium room with city view. The room itself was a standard small box sized room - it was a lot smaller than the photographs looked on the hotel website and we were quite disappointed with it
